Evansville - State Hospital Park

After the days of setting up on black tops and parking lots, it’s glorious to be setting up Mutual of Omaha’s aha moment Airstream in the middle of a park - Evansville State Hospital Park, that is. The fresh smell of cut grass and crunch of gravel under one’s feet is a nice feeling. Although the bugs may gather, and the humid weather adds to the heat, we are having an enjoyable time in our air conditioned mobile studio!

Here are some of the cool people who came out and visited us in our curious metallic vehicle:

Evansville - Cathenia Cathenia Knight:
I was blowing bubbles with my grand kids, and as the bubbles floated away they reminded me that my dreams were passing me by. From then on, I have followed my passion and I don’t let the bubbles get out of my reach.

Evansville - Michael Michael Sackett:
My wife and I were close to the end of our careers when a chance conversation got us started on a new path. We took a chance, started our own business and now we go to work happy every day!

Evansville - Ellen Ellen Williamson:
I moved from Chicago to Evansville and felt a little lost. An artist by trade, I wasn’t sure what this small town could offer me. On a whim, I refinished and resold a piece of furniture. Suddenly, what I thought I’d lost in life was found in a new passion.

Thanks to everyone who participated today! Look forward to hearing more aha moments from Evansville tomorrow!
